Student Researcher for FIRE Program

I participated in the First-Year Innovation and Research Experience (FIRE) program at the University of Maryland, College Park. In this program, I worked in the Engineering Biosensors (EB) lab where I helped conduct research on aptamers.

Feb 2019 - June 2019

Peer Mentor/Teaching Assistant for FIRE Program

I continued working in the FIRE EB lab as a peer mentor where I helped new students in the FIRE EB lab conduct research, complete coursework related to the required course FIRE172 and mentored students in the course. I also continued to investigate aptamers along with being a peer mentor

Over Sand Vehicle (OSV) Project Team Leader

I was the team leader for the Over Sand Vehicle project which was part of the intro to engineering course at the University of Maryland, College Park.

June 2019-August 2019

SUIN REU Intern

I was a student researcher in the SouthEastern Nanotechnology Infrastructure Corridor Undergraduate Internship in Nanotechnology (SUIN) Program funded by the National Science Foundation. I worked in Georgia Tech in the FIller lab conducting research on bottom-up fabrication of transistors.

Started and worked on the Albertus Lab's research into Direct Air Capture (DAC) of carbon dioxide using Bipolar Membrane Electrodialysis (BPMED)
